Ok this seems wierd to me. The Leviathan armors in the battleforce timeline are "designed" for combat. How the hell can a a scittering punch through what i'm guessing is 4-5cm of the most durable metal that the templars can get onto those things ? With scouts i understand but with Paladins and other "heavy" units ? From a gameplay standpoint i get it but from a lore standpoint i doubt those things pose much of a threat to a fully decked out templar.

Nope!
Xeno claws and mandibles can cut right through the outer armor of a fully armored capital warship. They have not problems opening a Leviathan armor suit like a tin can, even the most heavily armored.
Leviathan armor is primarily against radiation, environmental hazards and explosives.

Don't underestimate the size and power of scitterings or any type of xeno.
Look at ants strength compared to body weight.

Speaking of opening suits like tin cans. Well the litch(first one you encounter) is doing just that.
But seriously i though that by this time the factions or the templars would have figured out a way to atleast protect the ships to a certain degree. But it is as they say. "The Best Defense is an overwhelming offense"

Scitterlings can barely make it through the best leviathans like void legion, stack on buffs like power field and inferno seal and they will literally be incapable of doing damage. It would be impossible for all the armors to be made of the best stuff, the lower tier ones don't stand up as well but they aren't too bad considering what we see of unarmored soldiers... lol

Skitterings are a bit easy, I agree. I've had them tear right through Scouts and sometimes Engineers/Soldiers depending on their armor.
Never turn your back on any type of Xeno. Unless there's a Hydra bringing up the rear that is.

Just double checked, the Neptune is still at the start of the mission, overheated and taking his sweet time.

Neptunes are cool as ice unless they move and overwatch every single time. But seriously i'm shocked form a lore standpoint that the templars haven't figured out a way to atleast to guard against the scitterings.
