Hello,
I'm alpha-playing STF, on Linux, with the Windows build, thanks to WINE.
Not sure why, it was working without issue until today. Today, i had the game crashing while generating the map, and after deleting side files to get a proper reinstallation with the new version, if trying to launch from a terminal, i had this :
wine: cannot find L"unix\\home\\.....
So, to fix this issue, i simply moved the game's folder to
~/.wine/drive_c
Then WINE was happy, and game is playable again.
I probably did something wrong, but anyway, this is how i fixed it, so if it can help others, it's shared.
Until Linux is properly supported, that will do.

Yep, sounds good. Looks like for some machines you have to delete old games.
**** This release REQUIRES that you uninstall or delete the previous install **** If you don't uninstall before upgrading, it will crash!
**** Uninstall the app before reinstalling the new version **** **** Win32: Delete all files in "%LOCALAPPDATA%\StarTraders2\" folder *** **** Android: Use "Settings > Apps" to completely uninstall old version *** **** iOS: Completely uninstall old version *** **** Mac OS X: Delete All files in "~/Library/StarTraders2/"
