How does the bonus stealth from things like null shield, null field and null storm armor factor into critical hit calculations? Also I assume this bonus stealth can stack over 16 - what benefits are there too that?
Some other smaller queries, does the +damage from war gear like wraithsight kit, buff talents like rallying charge and battlefield enhancers and attack talents like shredding fire apply the same way? And does it do so as flat +damage or do they simply modify the damage range? Lastly how is plasma damage affected by crits? I'm playing around trying to optimise my force and this info would be super helpful!

Stealth makes sure your not spotted by narvs or xeno in as high of number you got stealth plus the steath skills bonus. But only overdrive and null field activate stealth.
Crits on the other hand are increased by war gear, weapons and if a skill or buff has it. Focus gives 1% crit with each point, and stealth give you the damage multiplier for the crits. So in some cases you could get 3-4 or even 5 times the damage you would get but it's VERY buff and situational heavy. If your going for a lot of crits get tactics up asap but you will lose out on a lot of basic dice rolls for extra non crit dmg if you focus on tactics alone.

That's not what I'm asking, I already read through the library pages and understand them. None of the info I'm looking for is there.

IIRC, +Dmg buffs increase the base damage range of the weapon, regardless of the source of the buff
Bonus points of Stealth factor in to crit calculations by increasing the crit multiplier. Not sure of the effect of Stealth above 16
As with any crits, the total damage is multiplied by the crit multiplier

Stealth does stack. Going above 16 can have an impact, but only at higher difficulty levels where the AI is using more scan range.

Wait, what? Difficulty factors for detection range is new to me (and isn't in the wiki either!)

It can. To be precise plasma weapons can.

That makes roar's talon a significantly more worthwhile investment than I thought, as otherwise the plasma AR2 seemed better for the late game. 5% crit wasn't worth giving up 20 alpha damage for but now it's only 12 alpha damage lost. Somehow plasma ar2 still feels more effective. I'll have to run the numbers with the log a bit.
