I like that the new way of getting confirmed shows the face of the person thanking you rather than just the text in the grey box. But the nice thing about the text in the grey box is that it went away automatically without you having to do something. The new way you have to dismiss with the back button. I thought I would give me a few days to get used to it, but no, I still
find myself waiting for it to go away all the time. I think it would be best if it went away by
itlself after a certain amount of time -- related to how you have set the 'longer notifications' option. If that is hard, then adding a button to the screen to prompt you to remember to dismiss the dialog would be an improvement.

You should just be able to Tap anywhere on the Screen to dismiss it.

The problem is that I wait. I don't know whether this problem is unique to me, unique to people who played the game with the grey confirmations, or an indication that the affordances are wrong, but my suspicion is the last one. I usually get over interface changes requring behaviour changes by now -- and its not as if I haven't had a lot of practice. :-) But I still catch myself waiting for the screen to clear, instead of clearing it myself.
