In the next release of Star Traders we will be trying to roll out Google Cloud Device Backup.
This will allow customers to seamlessly transfer all Captains and saved games from one device to another.

Google introduce the Cloud Backup Service in Android 2.2 OS.
If you have Android 2.2 or above, with Google Apps, then it will work.

Put another way, your phone must be API 8 and have Google Apps.

I also have re-written the LVL interface so that it stores the check results in secure location for each version.
this way, your ST RPG license check will occur one time (and one time only) per update
