The Narvidians must have reached a certain point of self-awareness, sentience, if you will. What is the alternative, to roam space for eternity? If they didn't want to expand their race, why even enslave the Star Traders in the first place? Perhaps they think that if they expand their race again it could cause a Narvidian civil war, like the one rumored to happen just before the Exodus. Little is certain when trying to understand the minds of Narvidians. |

They extermination of the Zendu might be one of their "prime directives". I think I remember Cory saying somewhere that the Narvidians have tried to eradicate the Zendu before.

Narvidians were created by the Xarth, enemies of the Alfaan. Zendus are, as I understand it, a mutation some humans got from living on bioforming worlds. Bioforming worlds were created by the Alfaan, so it is possible Narvidians see Zendu as products of the Alfaan, and therefore an enemy of their race.

Not really sure. All I know is that they apparently mutate humans into Zendu. The Templar homeworld of Mal Direx was a bioforming world.

I see. These bioforming worlds, what do they have that's so unique? Like resistor said, they can cause humans to develop a Zendu bloodline over generations. It is rumored that other bioforming worlds created other bloodlines, other Lineages. |
