Effect of Crew Combat Weapon listed Attribute/Skill?

Crew combat weapons list an Attribute and a Skill (e.g., Strength, Blades). What effect do the listed Attribute/Skill have on combat?

PS. We know that initiative is determined by Quickness, Wisdom and buffs.

I would guess accuracy, going on past experience

Accuracy makes sense. I wonder if the Attribute gives strong dice and the Skill weak dice, or vice versa?

Did I read somewhere that strength gives a damage bonus for blades? I don't know.
