Now that the 'Raise Skill' page has a back arrow to get you to the 'checkout' page, can we not automatically go there after we have trained something, but stay on that page in case we want to train more than one thing, or just think about the stats we have and what we should work on next? ps -- why am I a 'Star Hero' now? Posting too much?

based on post rate, yeah.
once i have the database thread manager capable of repeated train requests you can stay on that page.
as it is right now if you stayed on that page and did another train it would destroy all your character's stats and set them to 0

Nope. Sad thing really is I'm so painfully aware of the UX deficiencies of the games.
I play them for hours. It annoys the HELL out of me you have to click "Train Skill" and "Train Attribute" back and forth.
I'm also painfully aware of what it would take, schedule wise, to sidetrack and fix it -- and what it would cost us in schedule on other games and on CK's artwork and content pipeline.
So I accept those issues and I publish anyway. I try not to feel bad when people point out things I'm already stressing about, because I know they are seeing the same annoying behavior when they are playing (which might be as much as me, maybe.)
I personally try to remind myself that the issues in the UX are working around issues in the backend which were introduced to solve problems we learned about with ST.
If the training system wasn't the way it was then we wouldn't have fully threadsafe data files which would mean that we wouldn't be able to have long term support for SD card backups and cloud restore features AND keep multiple saved games in a way that doesn't degrade simulation performance or cause mixed states.

And thank you for explaining.
