I tried opening the game on Steam, and didn't get anywhere with a controller.
I think controller support is necessary or you will miss on a big segment of the population.
I actually don't play games much without streaming them on big picture mode or using some sort of touch screen.
Best Regards, Crimson

Crimson - thank you for the suggestion! We may eventually add controller support, but it is not a big item on our development list right now nor something we can commit to do. We've added basic controller support for BF, you can check out our controller profile there!

We've added basic controller support for BF, you can check out our controller profile there! Hi fallen, I have been holding off on commenting for a while now. This will be my last pre-game support for any project alpha or early access. I also got burned on support for dungeon defenders 2 (another game maker). I won't leave negative reviews on Steam or elsewhere due to knowing you for many years and my liking of star traders and cyber knights But I can't say i have not been anything but disappointed for the development of st2 from the delays (more than one year) to start, now in ealy access for an unknown period of time, to the lack of controller support. The way it plays on android (early alpha). Was really unplayable due to screen resolutions. I realize the focus was pc at the time. I just put a negative review for nobunagas revenge for not supporting controllers. Full controller support is basis 1 for me on pc. I only hope the android version gets much better. I wish you luck on your future game develipments.

Crimson - thanks for the feedback! We'll definitely keep trying to improve and do what we can with our small team and limited resources. To be frank, as mentioned above controller support is not top of our list for PC support. I am sorry if that eventually leads to a negative review regardless of all of our years hanging out together. The timeline for STF can be gauged by watching the v2.1, v2.2 and v2.3 development families. We are in the final item (Faen Storyline) before we can check off v2.1. We'll be working on the mobile port during the v2.3 family. Good luck to you as well!

As someone who's backed several games, and been disappointed more often than not, I must say I'm perfectly satisfied with the way STF is progressing. Heck, if the Trese brothers wanted to make it easy for themselves, they could just declare the game done right now; it's certainly polished enough. Their Early Access game is more complete and less buggy than many big-name full-release games.

. . . then they could start charging more $$$ for storyline DLCs.

We aim to go far past satisfaction
