Hi, Thanks for the new update devs.I have been waiting for one . I have a question regarding the +Attack on weapons components. Does it affect chance to hit or the shooting speed?(from my experience is more shooting speed/ +16 Attack lvl 7 torpedo is very accurate and shoots first almost always). Just to be more precise by shooting speed I mean who shoots first/shooting order at a given range. eg RANGE 5 start combat Captain SmartPants 2x +16Attack lvl 7 torpedo(MAX lvl torpedo) VS Captain FreeLootIndependant 2x +4Attack lvl 1 torpedo(OOTB on purchase on most ships) SmartPants shoots first with both torpedos. I imagine the weapon type (torpedo/missile system/plasma canon/lance/railgun/autocannon/gravdriver) has a built in accuracy.(either given only by the +Gunnery dice displayed and most probably by something more) Can somebody confirm this? In order to maximize the "to hit" chance what a smart captain must do apart from stacking Gunnery/purchase right components e.g Targeting Matrix (especially against a dodge build opponent captain). Thanks and cheers.

I can confirm that weapon types have base accuracy based on their normal range.
Weapon Initiative is a different value. Our roadmap shows that our next major item is Staport.
