I know we can zoom in and out to get a better overview of things. But when I zoom out to a degree where I can see the whole map, things are pretty tiny. And it's just not very comfortable to zoom in and out and in and out and ....
Same for scrolling long ways back and forth and back and forth and ...
What I wish I had, is a feature (mini-map) that allowed me to see at a glance where my Templars are and how far from each other they are, if and where new enemies spawn(ed) and where they are located in relation to my Templars.
I fear, I will hear that it's too much work/effort to implement. So, alternatively, I would be happy with a feature (display) showing the number of visible enemies on the map (+/- compared to the turn before) and/or a feature allowing me to scroll through the visible enemies on the map (e. g. like the button to go to the next Templar).
And here's just an idea on how to finance all the work to implement any "heavy" enhancement: include in-app purchases to fund specific features ("crowd funding") and link to a page to show details (total sum needed to get to work, total sum of payments received, ...).
If that's too complicated, then a general "donate for further developement" IAP (with a link to a page stating details and what is planned next to fund from the donations) could do. I'm serious. I know we cannot expect to pay once for a game and expect the devs to improve the game endlessly with additional sales not resulting in sufficient revenues. And yes, it will be a matter of trust. But when you start low and show that the trust into your work is well worth it, it could be a way to bring additional features requested by players to the game without fearing to only loose money on it. And if an IAP-based solution is stupid because Google takes it's share (30% ?), then maybe there is another and better way to do it (PayPal, regular bank transaction, ...).
Any thoughts?
