I would have assumed this was a bug, but its possible it is designed so I'll check: I was playing a game (challenging) and had landed on some planet. Got distracted by reality and left the game active. Returned after an hour or so, recommenced ship shopping and suddenly spotted my balance was down about 100k Was I mugged while AFP?

Your Cap visited some entertainers as he was bored waiting for you.

1 hour in earth time is equal to hundreds of years in ST universe time. Inflation adjustment.

Honestly, what you are describing is most commonly attributed to user error, mistakes with purchases or other game-rule-following events.
The possibility of a bug that causes credits to be removed from the game database for a single character while the phone is idle is highly unlikely.
I appreciate you reporting it, and I have noted it in the bug reports database. However, I do not actually believe or expect to find any software defect of this type, for a number of reasons. One, the functional activation cycle of the database engine actually places what you describe (DB changes during phone sleep) in the realm of hardware or OS bugs that change the underlying data.
Reported and logged. I will keep my ears and eyes open for further reports =)

i suppose there could be a bug with the android OS that sometimes unlocks the phone and issues a series phantom / automatic touch inputs to your device. If Star Traders RPG was the foreground application during the bug, and the touch inputs lined up correctly, it is possible that the phantom touches purchased a series of ships, then navigated to the starport and sold them at a loss.

Or, i think that the phone realized that it forgot to answer to some of touches, and it now executes them, so when you got to buy a ship, you clicked, nothing happen, clicked again, succeess!!! And pressed buy ship, nothing happen, you thought it meant you cant buy it, go back 1 screen, leave the phone idle, and rhen the phone goes un idle and executes the click of the "buy ship" button, and TADA it bought you a ship!

I'm gonna chalk it up to user error. I probably bought a promotion & forgot.
