Name: Firing Positions Soldier Rank 15 Crew Combat Talent Usable from positions 3 and 4 only. Affects friendly positions 2, 3 and 4 together. 12 Initiative
Buff three members of your team with +30% Ranged Damage, +25% Dodge, +20% Ranged Accuracy, -20% Parry for 3 Turns
Analysis: Similar to existing buffs, and directly competes with Backline Leader. However, it only impacts your back 3 postions and costs 2 more initiative. It also has a small debuff to melee defenses and really mostly helps ranged attackers. But, if you are using three ranged attackers, this set of buffs lines up a whole lot of reliable damage for those attackers without debuffing your front-line tank.

also how about changing xeno hunter launch granade talent to be usable from pos 1,2 instead 3,4 to be in line with consussion grenade, frag grenade, e-shock grenade and bio-poison grenade?

I politely disagree. Once you get to a point that a CC squad can have both available in a combat, you will be happy there is a difference in position needed. They also work slightly differently. Much like in XCOM 2, having multiple grenade options is the best tactical choice.

yes exacly, but by the time your combat team can have those other pos 1,2 grenades, xenohunter grenade wont be used ever again. changing xh to 1,2 would make xh half-valid for 1st pos combatant 3nd class (instead of bh) and be inline with other grenades unless im doing something very wrong with my combat team

Soldier Rank 11 Shrapnel Blast Usable from position 1, 2 May hit positions 1 or 2 Weapon-initiative
Attack with +25% Damage, +24 Bleeding, +20% Critical, -20% Armor Piercing, causes -20% Parry for 2 turns
A high damage move with a particular weakness versus heavy armor. Debuff to parry encourages a swordsman to follow up for a finishing move if the foe survives.
Compare to Roaring Barrels: +25% Damage, +20% Armor Penetration, strips buffs; this has spikier damage and a nice DoT effect with a debuff. Doesn't strip buffs and is generally worse against heavily armored foes. Compare to Blowback: 25% Stun, 14 bleeding, -20% Deflection debuff, 1 knockback; they complement each other well. The bleeding would stack, but the Shrapnel Blast is a higher damage dealer -- more offensive than the defense oriented Blowback.

The game has been designed so that various builds will still find some balance and still be effective. My play style has various differences from yours as my choices will differ from yours. There is no wrong way to play and readjusting needs to be done small as any changes can and will adjust someone's play style. No wrong way to play.

Exo-Scout Level 15 Feint the Pit Usable from positions 1, 2, and 3 May hit positions 1, 2, and 3 Usable against Xeno only Weapon-initiative
Attack with +10% Accuracy and retreat 1 position. If you hit, remove debuffs from yourself and apply -15% All Accuracy and -15% Damage to the target for 2 turns.
This gives a retreating option to Exo-Scouts so they can move forward AND backward. This is meant to open up E-shock grenades as an option for position 3 Exo-Scouts that don't want to tarry in position 2 for long. It's also a defensive option versus Xeno. Overall I think it gives a lot of utility to Exo-Scouts. If it isn't quite strong enough it could be re-themed and made not-specific to versus Xeno.

hello, is there something like this on "the list" ?
Health Care doctor, lv 11+, on landing, 13w cooldown (ok maybe less), heals up to doctor hp for medicial rating crew (0 med == no place to heal, talent wont activate)
CPR combat medic, lv15, on death, 9w cooldown, prevent death during crew combat

Or (more interesting/different from Flash Charge)
Stealth-based chance to begin Ship Combat as close as range 3, but possibility to begin at range 5 with “Exposed” debuff.

Pistoleer lvl 15 self pin talent
+10% armor and 25 resist to debuffs.
I just got this idea when i was pinned by the enemy and i didn't move back with fading shot but still got the buff. This might be a pretty cool concept imo.
