Noble Sacrifice
Bodyguard Level 15 Crew Combat Usable from positions 1 and 2. 8 Initiative
Targets self and position behind self.
Effect: Buff self with +10% Deflection, +10% Armor, -10% Defense versus Grenades; Ally gains +35% Dodge, +60% Defense versus Grenades for three turns
Analysis: Let's double down on auto-block + evasion builds, but let's be intentional about it. This is an anti-grenade move primarily with the theme of the bodyguard jumping on a grenade to spare an ally. It grants modest but important defensive buffs for the BG, whose personal defenses have been a BG party's weakness in the current meta. Crucially, not only does it make the ally immediately behind the BG nigh-immune to grenades, but it grants a massive dodge bonus to that single target. This would stack well with auto-block versus ranged attackers while not otherwise providing a ton of value for 8 initiative, at least for a rank 15 talent.
I thought of this talent when my bodyguard died in the final fight against the Werewolf bounty hunter, due to a frag grenade. He was the only casualty and he failed his death save. However, I survived the legendary bounty hunter due to his sacrifice.

Final Stand
Bodyguard Level 15 Crew Combat Usable from positions 1, 2 and 3 20 Initiative
Targets self.
Effect: Buffs self with +40% Deflection, heals 10 + Tactics HP, non-penetrating hits do not kill the Bodyguard, but instead leave you with 1 HP remaining and remove the buff. Lasts 3 turns.
Note: if at 1 HP when hit by a non-penetrating hit, you do die.

Engineer rank 15 talent
Void Engine Mastery
Ship Combat: All positions
Effect: +10 Range Change, +5 Escape, +30 Void Resist, +15% Defense for 3 turns
Analysis: Gives an alternate escape talent to Bolt/Sharp-Steering. Avoiding damage, especially deadly torp void damage while escaping moderately well may be a niche escape talent when SoTV is on cooldown or unavailable.

Talent: Distorting Blasts Ship Combat Job/Level: ?? Usable from positions 4 and 3. Effect: Specific targeting and ammunition modification disrupts enemy shielding. If any ship weapons hit, this Crippling Attack causes -15% Shield, -20 Void Resist for the next 3 Turns.
Compare to Gunner rank 1 talent Raking Fire which deals -20% shield and -10% armor from positions 1, 2 and 3.
This one isn't super powerful unless you're dealing at least some void damage. However, it doesn't work from range 5 making it a little trickier to use than just firing torps and sitting in their ideal spot. It does work nicely with railguns though, but not from all of its valid positions. This should probably be released for some up-coming job as a lower-rank talent like 1 or 5. This would notably be the only range 4 talent that drops shields and would be the first talent able to lower void resist.

Talent: Preemptive Shield Surge Ship Combat Encounter (like Flash Charge) Job/Level: Effect: Prepare immediately for combat by diverting energy to shields. Start combat with +40% Shields and -2 RP for 3 Turns but lose 150 Morale across crew as they are disoriented by emergency shielding.

We've so far avoided large scale set of "pre" Talents. If we crack that door open, there are so many cool things we could do.

Lone Survivor +15% All Accuracy +15% All Damage +15% Critical +15% Dodge +15% Parry +15% Death Save Never Breaks in Combat Unlocks a Red Bandana for this character as a visual option.
Characters can gain this trait only by winning a crew battle as the only surviving member of their team.
OK sry wrong thread I have another suggestion though Superior Command Commander Level 15 Ship Combat Effect You can activate a second talent.
Cooldown: 1 week? so you can do this once per combat (for each instance of the talent you have)
