Amazon appstore (where I purchased this app) only has 5.9.43. Are the newer updates available from amazon?

Sorry, not at this time. Our update service to Amazon App Store was interrupted some time ago by an unexpected change on their end and the sudden end-of-life of an API we rely upon.

Is there anyway for me to be granted the google play version (other than me also purchasing star traders elite on google play) since I apparently chose the wrong appstore? |

dado - sorry, no the markets don't honor either others' purchases. Unfortunately, the Amazon App Store seems to be dying in general.

dado - our apologies. We have been trying to re-instate the update service for a long time now but it has been challenging. This kind of interruptions have happened with other markets as well, for sometime we lost update service to iOS due to changes in their app requirements.

dado - our apologies. We have been trying to re-instate the update service for a long time now but it has been challenging. This kind of interruptions have happened with other markets as well, for sometime we lost update service to iOS due to changes in their app requirements. If I purchase the google play version, can I transfer my captains (for unlocks) and ship designer IAP? |

dado - I don't think so. They are completely separate apps and the markets don't honor each others' app or IAP purchases. You'd have to start completely over on GPlay or wait for Amazon update.

Bummer, how is it looking for the amazon update? I am trying to decide whether to jump ship or stay the course and trust the process (with amazon appstore). |

dado - as a company of 2 people with multiple major markets, games and deadlines just to keep the lights on, we cannot commit to ETAs. Amazon is a dying app marketplace, I don't know how much longer it will even be there. Currently, we are not planning on publishing any future games to Amazon because of all the headaches, time, effort and sad results of that place. I wish I could say that we will fix the IAP thing soon, but it has been over a year already without fixing. My apologies.

So Amazon is basically Google? "Let's give the users an admin page but with basically no tools so they have to make their own or do everything manually. Oh and let's change everything up every so often so the tools break and they have to rebuild them from the ground up" |
