It is possible to have a team of 5 in sandbox mode by hiring the Ox tunnel vagrant. However if you're playing Made, Not Born you can go beyond that to a badass team of 7. Read on.

So a while back I got fed up with Amazon's update caca del toro and bought CK+Hunder on Google Play. Money well spent given how many hours of enjoyment it's given me. I don't play CK that often any more, but when I do, I binge. But I digress. When I made the change I knew I'd lose all my existing Knights, including a MNB banger I spent a lot of time on, who leads... the Gang of 7. Long story short it is possible to have a team with 6 runners, but only in Made, Not Born. Here is how. First, start stockpiling a metric buttload of XP to convert your favourite 3 runners to allies. Next, pick up that clubber who lives in the Blue Ox tunnel, Gremick Bolsh. He will join your team regardless of its size. That's 5. Number 6 is Kidd Blaze, who will also join regardless of size, but only as part of the storyline. Number 7 is of course Eliza Crofter. You will want them all as allies, because if you ever let them go, you are down to normal team size. Be advised that you will never be able to do escort jobs again, or sneak close in surveillance. Boo hoo, cry me a river. But with the right balance of skills on your team, you can pull off the most impossible jobs, and take on Mars on their own turf in an epic escalating cyclone of corporate violence.

By Hawking's chair! That is a crazy death-squad. They roll into a neighborhood and you best hope you've got your doc on-call. What difficulty are you playing on by chance?

I need to slow it down to get them to live longer than a few months. Surprise encounters have seen me with only a runner swamped by a sick squad of drones and enforcers.

Augie or not, you'll end up in a chillbox if you aren't on your biz.

So, had that urge again. Did it a little differently this time. I played sniper, took a hund early on to run interference while I built my team. I had wanted a Punchy McPunchyface since you can augment a human a lot further than you can a non-Evo hund; however by the time I got my Punchy to live long enough, my lil pup was so experienced there was no point in keeping the Punchy. The hund has an advantage of being a low-cost day-1 ally. Some other observations: The reward for the Eliza Crofter ending is 25 XP for each team member. This covers their end of conversion, just make sure your Knight has enough to match. I prefer to have my 3 Runners converted before I pick up Gremick. Speaking of Gremick, don't forget he starts at 0, that's zee-ro, XP, and he needs to get up to 50 to be able to convert. I forgot, and spent a week crammed out no sleep to make the mark. I don't even start Eastwind Niner until I have nano armour for the whole team and a sack of nano medkits. Kraken Armour! Runner tested, Sineater approved. OK, I confess I spent a lot of time having fun before startiing the op. What are you going to do, tell Luka and Mercer on me? The Mars pass from Mercy Mary is not worth the trouble, unless you've pissed the Ox off so badly you can't get into their backrooms to see your old chummer Freezerburn. So, here's the crew, ready for a good night's rest. Tomorrow, we go to war with Mars. Ta!
