Been there, done that >.< This is why Tam spams farsight in storerooms like there's no tomorrow. And I try to pick the least convenient door for attacking inside room (i.e. a far corner on the long wall). There's still a number of rooms with the only available doors being inset from the hallway side, but… that's life.

The store rooms is one of the few places I purposely do not chain pull. I do one room at a time. Retrace my steps to camp and repeat.

Riven Field Keen Flatbow 19-50 6 Acc tuned with Stormwrought Torc (Amulet) (+8 Lightning dmg, 3% SP Drain) turned into: Keen Flatbow 21-52, 7 Acc, +1 MP, +12 Lightning dmg, +4 Stealth, +4% SP Drain. All stats I needed. More dmg, more acc, more stealth, more movement, more drain. Lots to love... Allows me to take off the one piece of stealth gear Selen was wearing and insert a +3 Parry, +3 Dodge, +3% Crit cloak. Nice!!! Well, I'm into the Torrent Watershed now. Actually we're in the Temple and Vraes drew the super early heavy armor, so he's sitting at 76 armor right now. He's already getting a lot of 0's when he gets hit. I love those. He also already critted for 300! I've never seen anything near that close this early. He's only got 2% crit chance though so we'll probably never get it when we really need it, but it's still fun to watch him vaporize an already almost dead archer now and again.

Ok we're storming Redhill and dynamics have changed. Vraes is doing less killing and mostly serves as the personal bodyguard of Hela (aka Tamilin) the Goddess of Death. She just strolls around flinging 1 ap spines into masses of the Baron's soldiers that have been hit with level 10 ash. She can easily kill 6 in a turn and have some left over ap. We hit level 16 in the first level after the starting dungeon, so this team is on a high xp trajectory. We should be 18 before hitting the baron.

Done with the Orcin Caverns and the Long Trail. There were a couple of good fights there. Vraes is no longer parrying, dodging, and soaking everything. He's starting to get hit pretty good. Shamans have been able to regularly hit 2/3 or 3/3 for about 150 damage per sot. The Orcin Javellineers have also hit him fairly regularly for anywhere between 0 (which happens quite often) up to around 60. The heavy hitters have also been breaking through. They can do about 250 dmg per shot. This all said, he has 1256 hit points to go through so I've got some cushion to play with. However, I am going to need to start looking for ways to keep him from getting hit quite so often. Accuracy is also becoming a bit of an issue. It's not terrible. I'm still probably hitting around 90% but....the fact that I'm noticing means it needs to be addressed before it gets ugly.
Doing some respawns right now to pick up some more Bloodstones so I can craft my Ep3 weapons from the Braeys forward siege camp. My next crafting focus is probably going to have to be on dodge/parry gear...

I beat the undeforge total clear. I made a few mistakes in the boss fight, but managed to avoid dying. I had to leave behind a bloodstone and a couple of chests T_T because I was not willing to risk breaking formation or slowing down my charge from Foci to Foci.
IT was funny to see with pureflame shield 8 and + fire and + earth resist gear that even KJ would occasionally full soak a spell shot by a cultist initiate.

In the end I decided to put one point into KJ's Warding Words at level 17. It helped me finish Redhill, but is mostly for the Storerooms which I'm doing now. Of course I opened the very first door and then realized that I had forgotten to buff! But, since I had used Warding Words and got everybody into position and then pulled the "trigger" from further back in the room everything was still good. If I would have had Tamilin open that door unbuffed though... shudder...

I'm currently playing something similar but with Tamilin. Vreas and Fyona is pure 2 handed hammers and kjartan is full support with maxing con, spirit sight and unlocking spell later shockwave . Tamilin is ap Stripper and later I will add SS for bosses and some nasty enemies. Currently no stealth lead and smashing oskahold. Im really looking forward this Ironman nightmare run...
Ps: Groupname The Godhammer planning to kill most gods and optional choices.

There are some awesome craft able shields with major bonuses that I don't know if I would be willing to give up on her.

I'm thinking of a restart myself to try some different talent allocations. Same basic idea, but I want to perfect it.
Definitely get burst of speed 3 before going past juggernaut 1
Thinking dance of shadows to 10 earlier to get +4mp for the underforge
Also strongly thinking of giving kj some bang. He is falling to far behind in experience so then the question becomes when, what talent and how much?

I have tried boost in storerooms training chambers. They did it easily. And there are some good crafted hammers especially that with bonus sp and holy dmg or that one with Hp.

I would recommend going immolation for KJ earlier. Having him pure buff/debuff is boring. I'm loving Tam right now. She is just destroying with 1ap spines. She will also pair nicely with Fyona's ultimate trajectory of getting Strickening to keep the damage output rising.

contributor I suppose I could. It just feels a bit dirty on an Iron Man team. I ask myself, could I have survived the underforge without all the plus resist I had from pf at the time? Or the Krete spur? How deep in immolation are you going vs pureflame shield?

Vurnak=dead. On to the finish of Ep2 and then the City of the Dead. For those of you who haven't tried it, Heavy Metal is a very solid team. With some timely crafting, they are very difficult to touch. Had no danger in the Underforge. I used maybe 8 healing potions and those were just to move Fyona and Vraes up from like 700hp back to their full tanks over 1000. Vurnak hit me maybe 5 times the entire time for no more than 150pts of damage. And I let him swing at me maybe 25 times. I cleared each foci entirely before moving on to the next and just let Vurnak wail away when he got close enough.... I'm now done with the self buffs however so we'll see how things scale going forward. Stoneskin is at 10, Pureflame is at 10, Shield of Cortias is at 10. I guess Righteous Fervor is still at 5 so that can go up some but....I'm now going to have to improve my stats mostly with weapons, armor, and gear. Fortunately, I'm up to around 20 Bloodstones after the UF so I've got some room to experiment.
