Not a huge enthusiast of Discord myself but I joined to take a quick look and wow it looks super active: everytime I check in I see 50+ messages, at least on the ST2 channel. I haven't really checked the other game rooms but clearly this is popular and well managed. Also MintDragon makes awesome YouTube videos, I can see why you guys picked him to mod it  Still, personally I much prefer ol' style forum: the game info is cataloged and easy to find. On discord there is as ton of great tips and game content knowledge that is shared but only for the moment and then disappear in infinite space buried among 100's other chat lines. Fun and practical for the person asking but the info is not really documented and saved for future players like it is in the forum. Anyways this is not criticism or anything, just an observation. Finally, I am curious: -Are there members that used to be super active in the forum but yet now prefer the discord platform instead? (In other words is one platform cannibalizing on the other) -Are there players that are members of the TB discord community that are not members of the forum? Would love to hear from these players and how they use (or not use) the 2 platforms. |

saltin - what we are seeing is that there a lot of Discord members who joined us there as their first community. They are on Steam, but most don't think of that as a real community place to hang out. We've been really happy with Discord. It's a great place for interaction and a place where the community is online to actively help new joiners with questions. That's been huge. If you tell me your Discord username, I'll badge you as a backer and you can get into the VIP only room

I agree with your comments about discord vs forum. To me, discord is for hanging out, or if I want to pop up and get a personal answer. But, it isn't searchable, so I almost always ask my questions in forums. That way others with the same question could theoretically find the answer. I find the steam forums are high volume, and not as convenient for searching or managing unread posts. I tend to post bug reports on this forum since it is lower volume.

I been a year since I was waiting for an update, meanwhile while waiting I have conquered every places in the game, killed every enemeies, and saw the gods of old or the broodhood of Caal the All Father. I left the world undarkened and loot every chest that is available. And I also bought the toughest armor and swords and bows. And I also Brought as many SP and HP Portions. And I am waiting for almost a year now. Today I am literally waiting in fierhold. And One year later still no update. I hope update is soon. Thank you so much Threse Brothers for making such wonderful game.

I have the weird situation, that I'm able to enter the server but cannot post anything. Not even a simple "Hi" in the Lobby section. How comes?
Edit: On Discord I'm called "Timeout" if that is of some kind of importance.
