matrim the good and bad news is that we're only at 2, 085,000,000 before going into the second CoD boss fight. I was hoping to beat your score before that. The team is super solid right now, but that fight still makes me very afraid. So there's a chance that I will not be able to unseat you. I gotta save that fight for tomorrow though. Play carefully and fully caffeinated. My Ironman-All-Melee is struggling right now, caught with their wheels spinning in the ramp up to the Great Shaman. I hope its just a mudslick and they can get back on track, but its getting nasty in there.

contributor yes, that fight is very tough. I recently lost an Ironman to it and it was so deflating. All that work and I trip on the last lap. I have never made it there with Vraes but with Kincaid it was manageable because Rasp’s attack is eaten up by SP. With Vraes as tank I would tank Emree with him and Rasp with Fyona, making sure that nothing else can access her while trying to whittle down the Wraiths. Once they are dead it’s pretty manageable to get the crystals and kill them. Emree definitely went down for me first because Kincaid although I would think you would want Rasp down first in yours because PS can randomly block Emree’s stuff. Make sure to use the assortment of buff items first and then tome them to last for 70 rounds or so. Good luck!

Is your team at the top of the leaderboards in the last town? Not anymore. I finished the fight. It was testing, but not extremely so. I pulled hard left and was able to kill Rasp and bunch of the Wraiths over there before Emesai even arrived. When he got there, we skirted him and sprinted for his focus. I would always recommend taking down Rasp first in this fight. Emesai is way harder to hit so Rasp dies much more quickly. We actually took over 4000 hp off of him in one turn. Finally at this late stage Vraes is turning into a single target destroyer. He had a lot of crits for 800 and 900.

I'm waiting to hear if matrim's team is still no deaths, or is that team that fell at some point in late E4?

That team is still alive at the end of current content. It was made about a year ago I think, maybe 16 months ago. They have some battles to beat in the transition zone to the last town but that is it. The team that died was my iOS team, they were at 2.1B around when they bit it (forgot to refresh Sure Parry). Great job contributor! I think I am too careful in that fight and I let them bog me down. My new group has just defeated their first Deathkin, we’ll see if I can topple the new king!

All the discussion of high scores is getting me back into the mood to play given all the changes.
I bet I could best my current score on iOS with all the crafting changes. I think I’m still at the top leaderboard spot on iOS at 2.166 B.
I also want to finish my Vraes to late game content as well as make an LS Vincent a destroyer with critical damage to test the extreme of LS/EoSt.

phaze, yes, do it! I'm hoping I'll be able to beat your score. Coming out of the CoD2 I'm at 2.147B. There's not a ton more content left, but I've got a lot of stuff to sell too, which should help.

That party has the two last maps to go yet, so they will jump a bit more upward. They already have max gold, so no added score for me in that regard.

What is max gold?
Edit: Nevermind, fallen just told me on Discord. I'm there too.

Ok phaze, I just discovered that I hit the score limit on Android. fallen and I are sorting it out. I'm actually at 2.162b with 4-5 maps left. When I transfer the save over to Steam I can see what it's really at. So I'll be very close to you. I am at max cash for sure though. Crazy how close our scores will be. I might just say, no more camping until we're ready to log our final score.

Finally, another update. I've finally completely finished Ep2 (other than the "pursue Rabiel" thing and the "looking for signs of the other gods" quests in the quest log). In other words, anything that can be finished before starting Ep3 is done. I've also finished the whole Granthorn area with Wyatt etc....don't want to include spoilers so very general. If you've done it then you know what I mean. All that's left of Ep3 is the Storm Bros and CoD. So, since I have now had an opportunity for some major upgrades in equipment, I thought I'd post my thoughts on the team's performance and the short-to-mid term goals going forward.
Vraes: He truly has been a solid tank. I've been playing most of my characters with lots of SP drain gear to make them more fun and he's managed to stay self-sufficient despite now having Phalanx 10 and Stoneskin 9. I keep wanting to give him some more Natural Mastery because his damage is fairly low at this point, but I'm trying to stick to my title of Two *Tanks* and a Wasp so I've resisted the temptation and have kept alternating the PS and SS. Almost done! I can't wait. He really needs the NM to get his damage up. I've maxed his Polearms so his accuracy has been solid but he's definitely lacking punch on his attacks. He's still using the Keen Pit Spear from the Braeys camp with the +5 Dodge/+5 Parry and the Defenders Shield with the +3 Dodge/+20 All resists and they've served him very well. I was also just able to upgrade his armor from the Plate I found (66 armor but -4 Evasion) to a crafted Fremat Lamellar Overcoat (72 Armor, no evasion penalty, +140HP, +5% SP drain, with +1MP). The extra MP comes in very handy considering I've still got Burst of Speed at 1. Next will definitely be finishing Stoneskin and then getting a couple points in Natural Mastery. I need one more pt in Berserk Rage, possibly 2 for the extra crit, and 1 more pt in Savage Sweep for the extra 2 accuracy and then I'll probably run Natural Mastery for a while. Burst of Speed 3 is on the agenda at some point but it's pretty SP expensive so I'll probably wait until my crits get a little more regular before adding that.
KJ: It's been a long road for him to become relevant on the offensive side but he's starting to get there. I've got his Sorcery up to 16 now so his Immo 3 is starting to hit most of the time. I have also raised his Knowledge to 7 to help with that and it is. He's still the bottleneck when it comes to having to camp because I'm not running any SP drain gear on him since he doesn't do a ton of damage yet....but he's getting there. Mostly dodge gear with the Maw of the Forge amulet which gives him another 5 Accuracy and +18 Fire dmg. Combined with Burning Blades 3 and Immo 3 he's starting to hit in the 60-80 damage range which is actually enough to be helpful sometimes. Again, in keeping with the group title, I've resisted the urge to bump Immo, Burning Blades, or Firestorm and stuck with running Pureflame up to 7. 8,9, and 10 are where it really jumps so I'll probably stick with it until maxed. The next three points basically doubles the buff from here so kind of stupid to spend 7 points and not take it all the way. Depending on how things are going I may add a point in Firestorm or Immo along the way but...gotta stick with PF for now.
Fyona: Tank number two is progressing nicely. She's well over 1000HP fully buffed now and I was able to upgrade her armor in Granthorn as well with Lamellar Armor (56 Armor, +4 Parry, +6 Dodge, +10 All resists). I was running a looted 44 armor Novir Leather with 8% drain but...it's time for her to tank up so the new armor goes a long way towards doing that. Combined with the newly purchased Dervish Ring (6 Accuracy, +6 Dodge, +6 Parry) she has just added 12 armor, 10 Parry, 12 Dodge, the 10 Resists, AND 6 Accuracy. Slight upgrade there. :-) Her biggest weakness has been her accuracy so I bit the bullet and added a 2nd point to Zealous Strikes which means that will hit with +5 accuracy. That also means that her Con Def will attack with +7 accuracy and Reckoning will attack with +5 accuracy. I had her running a +3 Accuracy piece of gear so the Dervish Ring and the extra pt in Zealous should hopefully alleviate some of the misses. Her biggest question now will be SP again. I may have to go with the third Defender's Shield option (+180 SP, 8% SP drain, +12 Holy dmg) in order to keep her tanked up yet still functional on the SP side. I hate to lose the 400HP by switching out the shields but with the extra dodge and parry I just picked up I think she'll be okay. Plus, the extra holy dmg never hurts...especially considering that Zealous Strikes buffs +9 Holy, Reckoning 1 has +8, and my hammer has +20. So that's +49 holy damage on attacks. Not overpowered by any means but it's definitely going to leave a mark, especially against holy weak monsters and on crits. Looking forward to it. Fyona is definitely the hardest character to build since she has so many options. Right now I'd like Zealous Strikes 5, ConDef 4, Reckoning 6, and Strickening 1. Plus, actually one more point in Righteous Fervor. That's where I'm headed but no idea how I'm going to get there yet. I guess you'll just have to follow the OP to see.... :-)
Tamilin: The "Wasp" has definitely been living up to her name. Now that I'm starting on Deadly Intuition her damage numbers will continue to climb. She's basically been more than self-sufficient with 12% drain and her armored overcoat has minimized the occasional arrow she doesn't dodge. With her newly purchased Mantle of Shadow (+9 Dodge, +9 Stealth, +9 Security) replacing the +4/4/4 one she had the arrow shots should go down even more. With Torrent of Steel 9 and Blacknight 8 her next major move is Deadly Intuition. I also would like a couple more Silent Stalker but the DI is just so strong that I've got to raise that before doing anything else. Once that's at least 5-6 it makes every point put in anything else that much more powerful. I had to do Torrent for the -AP curse and I had to do Blacknight for the MP and stealth but DI is now the most important talent remaining. It will get the next 4-5 pts for sure and then I'll decide if I want to finish Blacknight, add a couple in Silent Stalker or Ranged Onslaught, or just run it all the way to 10.
As a quick mile-marker to for me to remember and compare where I am at this point in the game I'm adding fully buffed HP, armor, attack, and defense stats below...
Vraes: 1542 HP, 170 Armor, 9s+37 Acc, 51s+43 melee def, 20s +7/6 ranged/spell def + 57% Auto-block. All resists are 41+ except unholy is 30. KJ: 668 HP, 72 Armor, Spell + 36 Acc, 23s+19 melee def, 15s+8/11 ranged/spell def. All resists are 21+. Unholy 10. Fyona: 1347 HP (prior to switching to SP shield..which will drop her 400), 84 armor, 6s+40 Accuracy, 44s+47 melee def, 26s+7/7 ranged/spell def. All resists are 31+. Unholy 20. These numbers are before Zealous Strikes 2 and Consecrated Defense 2 buffs kick in. Tamilin: 841 HP, 78 armor, 15s+29 bow accuracy, 9s+36 thrown accuracy, 15s+60 melee def, 32s+26/17 ranged/spell def.
Next update will be entering the City of the Dead.....

Thanks for the updates dagger. In my experience most of E3 was a romp with this team, until late in the COD. So once you get there, proceed with extreme caution. Those archers and towers! I came so close to losing them once in one of the hidden levels. If the RNG gods hadn't been on my side I could have lost them. So best of luck to you in there.
