Hi all,
I love this game. It took me a while to get into it the first time, but then I was hooked and I've now replayed it three times (demanding-normal-demanding) and am on my fourth playthrough on normal. Normal is actually kinda hard this time! I am still enjoying levelling up my Templars, I just wish there was either some more late game content and an ability to spend requisition points after I've already unlocked everything.
If there was one thing I'd love to see added it would be simply the ability to convert RP into XP, maybe at a 2.5:1 ratio or something. You could add an item to the ordnance menu that buys say 100xp for 250RP for all units, or say 200xp for 250RP for one unit, with XP to be applied after a successful mission. That way I could keep levelling my units more easily and/or make sure that the units I don't get to use as often (e.g. my second soldier or second scout) can keep levelling also.
Also I would like to suggest adding a scenario replay option to the end game righteous fallen area, or to the HQ. Something like a starcraft 2 style menu where you can replay any mission after you've beaten it. That way you would still have to replay the game a couple of times to unlock the various permutations, but still could just jump in and play your favourite missions (and gain xp!) at any time.
I hope that you revisit this game in the future. I know you're against DLC but I would be glad to pay again for an expansion.
Thanks, really enjoying your game. Sean

sean - thanks for the post and glad that you have enjoyed the game so much! I hope you will choose to leave a review. Due to the way the story campaign is built, we can't offer a "play any mission" without a massive rewrite of the underlying setup. However, there is the New Game+ option, which I am not sure if you've seen? You can replay the entire campaign and make different choices throughout. For Templar Battleforce, we aren't looking to add DLCs. We're not big fans, maybe for future games. If you liked TBF, you should check out Star Traders: Frontiers (very different game, same universe as TBF) or Heroes of Steel (post-apocalyptic fantasy tactics RPG).

Also I strongly encourage you to try a game on Ironman. Accept losses and fight to the death. This is where the game really shines, where it truly comes alive. Give it a shot

Did you mean Ironman, or permadeath? If he or she is playing on Normal, jumping to Ironman could be discouraging. Also, weep and fear, for you will never find another game as good as this. You have literally stumbled upon the best game ever made. You can stop looking for others now.

Bump.
I'd love to have the option to convert RP to XP. Could it be thinkable to allow it when you've completed the tech tree? Would be welcome, grinding to max level becomes a lil' bit tedious after a while.
