Tamilin and bows

Ah, yes, the numbers. In the face of such arcane mysteries I have no choice but to repent of my ignorance and content myself with hopefully unseating matrim from the #1 spot on the Nightmare Ironman boards soon.

...and I guess I missed the opportunity to role play Vraes as an idiot for choosing a 2 or 3 ap weapon. That really changes my perspective on this. Truly I am ignorant.

Lol I suppose I should shut up and sit down due to the #1 spot Those are the numbers that really count.

I have two parties. In one, Tam is with the bow, in another, she mixes bow with knives. Both in the Ep.4, so the skill pool is significant to make it work.
In early game, you have to choose.

Back to the topic of bows. Bows on Tamilin or Selen are a strong option. Selen, because that is her access to -AP curse (not to mention parry/dodge, which is awesome too) and it’s also her access to AoE. Tamilin is a bit of a different case. Torrent of Steel is an amazingly strong move, -2 AP and the Dodge are simply some of the best curses in the game. On top of that, -Res is very strong if you take advantage of it, and why wouldn’t you when the dodge and AP curse are already lumped on with it. Lastly, the option to AoE AND curse things at the cost of 1 AP is what makes bows an ultimately inferior choice on Tamilin. With TKs she takes a bit more risk (not much more, she can still be a fair distance away) but gains huge damage, utility, and increases everyone else’s damage. Also, there is nothing to really be gained by not taking Torrent. She is still a very strong bow user with DI max, 1 RO, and 1 in AS. On Nightmare I still hit 95% of the time as long as I keep the bow up to date.
