Something, I haven’t been able to figure out because there seem to be contrary indications in the game...
If I have a character holding a weapon with combat bonuses, do they can count if you attack with a spell (Kyera, Kjartan) or a different weapon (Tamilin)?
For instance, my Kyera has a mace with 5% sp drain, but when she attacks with banishment or holy retribution, she doesn’t seem to get her sp bonus. On the other hand, I have a staff of pious opal for Kjartan that has a +2 ranged accuracy bonus. But staffs cannot be used for ranged attacks, so this would imply that it should add to his spell accuracy, as long as he has it readied.
So which is it? I am getting ready to go into the CoD and I really need to know if weapons’ holy damage gets accrued to other attacks.

“It” is - staves, shields, armour, and accessories add their bonuses to all attacks and spells. Weapons that are not staves only add it to attacks directly made by that weapon.
