Perhaps the delegation from Javat should take into account our advanced construction technologies. I'm sure you'll surpass us eventually but for now take no offense at our bolstering of the economy. Seeing the number of Xeno colonies at such staggering levels, perhaps a phase of Ship building tech could be undertaken? I would be for researching Cruisers and a few steps down both Fighters and Cruisers to have some advancements in their construction. Of course this is open for debate, but as we all know, Cadar commands quite a presence on the battlefield, and eons of warfare have taught us well. Good thing for Mok that the Xeno decided to show up. Perhaps they can spy on alien locations and movements and not Cadar's mighty Navy. Next time you provoke us to action, we may not be so lenient. Of course we had to ensure, covertly, that you were not pointing your guns at the wrong targets. Again, you have proven that you are too twitchy for your own good. Regardless, you make a fair point about our lack of front line defense against an an abhorrent threat. Make sure that the next guns you fire are at our mutual enemy, no?!

Now, now, En1gma, I understand your frustration with the conflict, but listen: politics and Faction pride aside, us Moklumnue are a pragmatic people. So I suggest that you turn your "mighty navy" to the xeno threatening the empire, because Shalun knows this ain't the time for shenanigans between us. Now, as you have all pointed out, the state of our defensive capablities is laughable, which is precisely why I think the Cadarian has a point. Now that we got a basic trade network established, it's time the Factions expand their fleets. Just a handful of fighters to defend the outer colonies closer to xeno space, because I don't think it will take long before one of them sees a World Killer crashing into them.

I suggest we research and construct several rapid response fighters, using the full extent of the early Fighters branch. From there, we should then focus on researching better infrastructure, especially in terms of mines, hab units and political ritual, while the new worlds focus on building the existing infrastructure buildings and new warships.

I agree with Brutus Aurelius on these matters. And may i suggest to the Javati and Mok officals that they focus on bolstering their own economy as much as they are able in order for them to back Cadari fleets. We are a capable faction. But against the vile threat of the Xeno we can only do so much. We need your economic backbone as much some of us hate to admit it.

We ought to be producing as many Trade Points as humanly possible, through whatever means necessary: Exchanges, high level mines later on, at some point, we could also benefit from researching and installing our Orbital Tradeway and Javat's refinery, but I'm affraid such technology requires a bit of effort from the Faction scholars. And right now, we should probably focus on military tech...

I suggest we hold off on building heavy trade infrastructure until we have a solid income and money in the treasury, to allow us to continue paying for our military and colonies, should there be any troubles down the line.

Great. So I suppose spamming trade summits to prevent a Solar War won't work?

If I'm not misunderstanding you, Javat votes for En1gma 's proposal to research both cruiser and fighter technologies, while the majority of Cadar agrees with Brutus Aurelius to focus on only on fighter research for now. Which proposal does Moklumnue vote for?

My vote goes for focus on fighters, but let's see what other Moklumnue representatives have to say.

My vote goes for focus on fighters, but let's see what other Moklumnue representatives have to say. I concur. Fighters will quell the bloodthirsty savages and hold the Xeno back as a stopgap long enough to fund much better defenses.

Apologies for not being on.
I agree with you both about the fighters.

More apologies, busy summer over here. Fighters are good for the moment, but Cruisers will need to roll out if we want more than a disposable fleet.
