Vincent’s Relic

As I approach the end of Underforge and see episode 3 rearing it’s head, my thoughts turn to CoD. I must petition you TBs again to please, please, make a 1 AP blade option for Vincent. It is terribly anticlimactic to get to that point and have literally every 1 AP light blade in the game outdamage the relic (I kept a broad dagger the last time I went through and tested this, it beat the relic’s damage by nearly 50% on average). I’m not sure why this is not an option as even Vraes can get one. Please TBs, make my favourite iteration of Vincent able to use his relic! It should be really easy to hot fix in.

Thanks for the feedback! It is on our long list, but like everything else, it is below the priority of "finish the story".

The relic is in an location that stays accessible, so if you don't want to the 2 AP relic, just avoid it.

sparda4 I was referring to the relic you get in episode 3. The episode 4 upgrade is good but is once again outdamaged by every reasonable 1 AP dagger you get in episode 4. That does not even include crafting. The fact of the matter is by that point of the game you can stack so many damage items on Vincent (because he does not need any defense or stealth gear) that halving the number of attacks he gets is hamstringing him. I easily get +40 elemental damage just in items and sundering and that is more than enough to take advantage of Strickening. Don’t get me wrong, 24 more is welcome but the damage works out to quite a bit less. If I remember the numbers it’s something like 2 AP: 350 hits, 800 crits, 3 attacks where 1 AP: 300 hits, 550 crits, 7 attacks. Also, misses, while rare, are devastating for 2 AP weapons.
