Survive 1000 weeks (until 76.12AE) on difficulty challenging.
You can see all the awards and what they unlock in palace->hall of records->all awards->possible.

Great post. The key is starting a game on the required (or better) difficulty.
1000 turns is like 20 in game years, not something you can burn off in the Spice Hall.

Do unlocked items carry over to new characters? For example, if I unlock the extended water tanks, will it be available to the next character I create? The reason I've asked is I've had a couple items that I can't purchase and all it reads is that I need to unlock the item. However, I've previously unlocked it and been able to use it. Can't remember which item that happened on but it happened recently. I kept going to awards trying to record it but to no avail. If it happens again I'll post which one.Never mind. I found the one I was talking about. It was the Big Tent award. I thought I had unlocked it but it looks I never had. Something else to work on!  |

brucethebruce yes, it does carry over. I think coryrealisedthe game wouldn't sell if we have to do it over and over again...

I don't even wanna know if it's at all possible to unlock every single award with 1 captain. A challenge for Fenikso, maybe? He's a masochist so he might be up for it. ;D

I just got this Unlock tonight... I have to say, it is without a doubt my favorite Upgrade when playing Starter ships! I am playing a Cadar Spy on Demanding while flying my starter Aeternam Vale. A well needed addition to my little ship!

I completely agree - the W/F tank is one of the awesomest of upgrades for early on in the game. Heck, almost all of the ships I fly around NOW have them. Why? because it's like that reserve tank. You always know you can work a shortage situation to your advantage without the fear that you're just not going to have enough fuel to get from A to B (or from B to somewhere else). It's the one cargo type that is absolutely critical ... and it means that if you ONLY carry 25 units of W/F and nothing else, then your ships signature is as small as it can be.
