The purpose: post your questions. answer other peoples questions. unless its a day1 question, ill probably put it here in the main post body. many can probably be answered from the wiki! and other outstanding questions could be great candidates to add to the wiki!
* Can't lose permit3, only permit 4. The threshold where losing >2 rep no longer demotes level: Permit3, Edict 4, Rank 12.
1. it takes >2 rep loss to lose permit4. is it the exact same to lose permit3? i feel like this should be in a patch note somewhere?
2. this is a big one: Contract Introduction talents - 1) does it have a preference for IN-FACTION, 2) does it have a preference for near/far? - Market Confidant: i have a feeling that market confidant is faction-of-exchange you deal in. and it has a high chance of being local (if not preferred local as possible). - Listening Post: dont have a feeling for whether its in-faction or not (of the place you orbit), but i do think it doesnt prefer local contancts. distance could be random. (does anyone see <2 jumps when using this?) - Exploration Card Game - anyone have a feel whether this is in-faction of zone? or a feel for distance? - Spy/Patrol - i feel like these are in-faction of planet you orbit, and are generally local if not on that planet itself.

and its >=3 rep loss, as says patch notes i think.
