Impossible challenge!

I hereby challenge all Star Traders veterans! Are you bored with your Impossible character? Ship hunting season! Try this:

Make a note of how much money do you have:


Buy cheapest ship you can easily find. Upgrade it and go hunting! I highly recommend Cadar Shuttle.
Your goal is to get the best and the most expensive ship you can find and get by force as cheaply as you can.

At some time you will probably find something better for hunting. That is fine. Just remember, you go for the best profit, so do not overdo your upgrades:


Yep, it is possible, that you will have to explain to some morons, that their ship is not good enough or worthy:


But finally you will find something NICE:


Go and fix your new ship:


Make a note how much money you have right now (no cheating with making another profits!):


Now the hard part. Find out how much would the same ship cost you if you buy it:


Now do your math:
$1,488,891 - ($3,176,220 - $2,863,633) = $1,176,304 profit!

Okay ... first up this scares the pajeezers out of me because, let's face it, in impossible, most of my time is spent surviving and I don't necessarily have any spare to do recreational hunting ... ... but in saying that, I feel that sooner or later I'm going to bite the hook and see how long I can hunt for.


Next up ... there has to be some sort of time limit. It took you 6 years to find the ship of your dreams, and that's kind of a random encounter. I think we'll have to cap the challenge to 10 years maximum.

On Impossible, my enemy can get MY ship and ALL of my cargo+crew in 6 turns. Does that count?
