Lost Save Files : (

Hi all. Apologies if this has been covered before. But after taking a few months off from the game because I couldn't get past the Ancient Monastery, I decided to try again. Only to discover to my dismay that my save files are missing. Now my only options are to start a new game.

I'm running a Samsung GS 7 with Android 8.0. I don't know when the save files may have vanished but any insight on next steps would be appreciated. I've spent countless hours on the game and would hate to lose my progress!

Have you changed anything on the phone in the intervening time? I (for reasons to complicated to go into now) had to create a new user on my tablet and, despite using the same google account, all my saved games had gone because android gives each new user their own space for files. Fortunately, I hadn't deleted the old user yet and was able to recover the files.

Oh man. I just remembered I had to do a factory re-install since it was acting super slow.

*facepalm*

I guess I'll be starting over now.
