So far it looks great, loving the new ships and officers! Cant wait to test drive the Terror class I saw earlier!
Couple issues:
- Game seems more sluggish overall, takes a second or two to process buttons and ship directives, ship pauses frequently during travel
- Getting lockups where the screen greys out, then i open the game and when i finish it backs out to the previous crashed instance

I'll look into it but this is strange! I am of course watching the crash and ANR report pages like a hawk, so if real reports come in I'll know right where to address the issue. My code changes, however, didn't impact the turn generation system at all. I guess there are always possible side effects but I'm totally clueless as to where to start looking for this trouble without (A) some ideas or (B) a ANR or crash report. PS: the behavior of returning to the previous instance ... I am lost reading your description

Ah, my apologies. This might have been some other apps running on my phone, making it sluggish.
Well, basically, the game froze during navigation, so I had to hit Home until I could get out of it. Started the game, and instead of recovering where I was, it was at the Main Menu. I hit Continue and it picked off where I crashed. I played a few Contracts then when I backed out of the game to close it, it closed and left me at the screen I was when I crashed (my ship was in a different sector where that happened.) Then the game FCed
I think this might have been due to other things going on with my phone (its a non-rooted Droid X) but I will keep my eye out.
Is there anywhere we can check out the new ship list?

this "ship displayed in wrong sector" is a very hard to reproduce but that was added with Waypaths.
I think you just saw it for the first time, maybe?
I am not saying that there is not an issue in v3.0 that is making the game go slow -- maybe I messed up reading the officer database somehow that slows it all down. I'm looking.
I do hope it was your phone or something with the upgrade install. If you see more problems, please keep the reports coming.
I don't have Internet permissions on the phone to report stats or errors so I depend on you!

Will do, I really like the Officer additions.
Rebooted the phone and the game works very very fast now. Must have been things going on in the background

I did also notice that when contracts grey out in the palace, I can usually back out to the main planet menu then back to Palace and they are available again, different contracts. This might be a bug

Hello. I noticed that the exchange has problems calculating the maximum amount of water/fuel you can purchase when the ship is equipped with a water/fuel tank. For example, with a full cargo hold, i had to sell 1 object in order to buy the 19 or so units of fuel I needed to fill my tank. I never noticed this before the 3.0 upgrade. I love this game, by the way. Thank you so much for all of your efforts

k0rd,
i must have missed some details with how the water tank would effect the exchange. i'll see what i can do

Similar bug: sometimes after looking through the upgrades at a stardock, I will leave, go to the palace/exchange/spice hall, and when I go back to the stardock, all the upgrades are gone. The only fix is to waste a week leaving the planet and coming back.
And another bug: I currently have a trade embargo between Steel Song Clan and De Valtos Syndicate that shows up twice in the conflicts page. Also at one point, Clan Javat and Cadar Syndicate were in a trade embargo, while at the same time being full allies.

I have experienced the bug Rush mentioned. In previous releases, it used to show up as "-3" upgrades or something similiar and all of them would vanish.. it would happen after visiting the stardock and looking at the upgrades, then something would trigger them to vanish?

So.. I'm posting this with some teeth that just got ground down a centimeter or so.. was something changed in the ship morale department? I was playing through as always, found myself in a mutiny blindsided. I chose to fight with a decent intimidate score (this was clearly my bad decision, but I'd never lost one the few times it'd happened before) and lost my pilot. I'm...a bit peeved. Just curious if this had anything to do with the patch, or if its entirely me being a combination of dumb and unlucky :/ the only reason I bothered to post it was because I was totally blind-sided by it, having thought I had no reason to check morale..anyway, still love the game but that was rather brutal! Heh
