For the first time since 2011 I've been able to upgrade my main development machine.
This is thanks to all the fanatical support we've received over the years for our games and company.
This forum, and the people who have made it come alive, have given me this wonderful gift.
Time to work on things with my brother, and now, fancy new tools to do it with.
I'm enjoying every day at work in a way I have not in a long while. It is wonderful to have such a nice machine, a computer capable of doing everything I need for builds, tests and simulation runs.
Thanks again for making this possible!

Thanks for the kind words, but there's nothing really special about me. I'm just a lone, crazy, wondering digisheep that dropped in years ago to report a bug and decided I liked this place and the people here.

Aren't two 1080Ti a bit overkill tho?

Aren't two 1080Ti a bit overkill tho? A single GPU can only drive 4 outputs. I picked the cards I did for two reasons -- DP ports and core counts. When you're running GPU-bound VM to test games (OpenGL mostly) you want to be able to allocate big sections (4GB) of GPU memory and a realistic number of cores to simulate something like a 1050Ti. And I plan on using this machine in 2026. By then these GPU will be very out of date.
