Perhaps you are talking about Niara. She is a new starting character, Female IV, who cannot use clubs. Available only in Elite. The avatar was originally developed for the Drone Master, but development of Drone Master was halted. The Trese Brothers didn't want to waste the effort, so they provided the avatar as a new starting character, minus the Drone Master specialization.
