So far I always went Galantia->Rychart->Ferarai, but since failing twice on Rychart's final mission, the extermination protocol, I've been thinking that maybe the squad would benefit from having amassed more experience from doing Ferarari first which is easier for me. In what order do you take these chapters? Does it matter or the auto scaling of enemy levels negates any advantage?

I think the advantage you can gain is going into harder levels (the scenario map and setup, not the level of the enemy monsters) with more options, gear and Talents. So, if you find Rychart harder, then doing it second is likely to your benefit.

Yeah, especially when on higher difficulties the enemy levels scale unfavorably to the templars'.

Sorry I didn't see this post sooner, as the others have said, a lot of which path to follow can depend on the difficulty level you're playing at. I've always felt that doing ferarai lance first is the best choice. If you haven't read it, try this link below for some tips. I've tested it at almost every higher level and it still works ok for new comers and veterans alike. Once you get a handle on the game play, the real fun becomes trying out new strategies and gear combos. In the end, there is no one correct way to play. That's what makes this game and the others made by the TB's such fun and worthy of our time, money, and respect. Happy hunting startradersrpg.proboards.com/thread/12426/templar-battleforce-game-guide

I do the Ferarai Lance mission immediately because the scientists have been waiting months for rescue, and I don't want them to have to wait any longer
