Does cache security rating matter for Smugglers?

I found a post from 2013 where Cory said that planet rating does not matter for smugglers... But this post being from 6 years ago I naturally wondered if this is still the case.

I like to jump here when I'm looking for something. On this page, www.tresebrothers.com/help/StarTraders/classes.htm , I only find they say 200% better... Humm
