I'm not sure if this is a bug report, cell related or what. I'm playing for all the syndicates. Naturally that makes it harder to find a safe clan that isn't in alliance with at least one. Also I get lucky and can catch up to all three having solar wars against the same clan. I will empty the ship, load with w-f and blockade away. It brings insane exp points, a few easy millions, and I get to reload my ship with the most expensive cargo from ships ignoring the blockade. However it also takes forever for all the success reports to complete. I understand it takes more time than just needing a quick thumb to blockade a week at a time. . However the toasts will continue for the rest of the game and worst of all, they continue after I leave the game. My screen is blurred with them even now. Cleaning my memory doesn't help. In Options I have all available toast choices disabled. I'm wondering if this is cell specific; HTC Thunder Bolt, or just the cost of long blockades. I went into my last blockade with 100 w-f, took and completed more than ten contracts, searched several star docks for those elusive ships, allocated all the exp amongst all the areas before ending the game. My toasts just ended in the middle of the last sentence. Should this be expected for hoarding blockades?

There is an option to turn off these notifications, "hide operation notifications", near the bottom of the menu.

It only occurs when you feverishly mash your "Surveillance" or "Blockade" buttons (for ehem XP generation). Cory kindly added the "Hide Operation Notifications" to assist

The toasts are not something I invented, they are an Android OS feature.
They just don't work very well for the way they ended up being used in some play modes.
On Impossible I never really get ahead of the toasts because I'm worried about looking at the situation.
I failed to design something better and we got addicted to Toasts in the ST RPG system. Some of the ways that they are used are very, very hard to replace with other things.
In CK we build a dialog system which is replacing Toasts, but for ST RPG I they are here to say.

Well you do at least allow us to disable to a great degree. I thought I had disabled them all and missed that one. I know what you mean however about trying to battle and follow toasts. LOL

Hopefully, ST2 would have a separate dialog panel, like them old RPGs, that have all the necessary info running in them which we could scroll through.

well something along those lines but the old RPG's designs wouldn't really work on the hardware diversity, but we will NOT be using toasts, that much I do agree on

Okay, let's play be e-mail then. ;D Let's begin! There's a bomb on a bus. Once the bus goes 50 miles an hour, the bomb is armed. If it drops below 50, it blows up. What do you do? What do you do? E-mail me your decision by 1000hrs tomorrow or I'll take it that your character passed the turn.
