I don't have serpants tooth yet and was thinking to go for it.
Well, I normally play pirate, guns are about same cost as records. And was wondering what ship others start with? I tend to get picky beggar, low hull means easier to get pilot above it.
Was curious what starting ship others used and why.

I tend to go with Neutiquam Erro for pirating, low crew and big hold means long range for the fuel you can carry. I tend to stick to packages/passengers to start with so the low guns aren't too much of a issue. I take the picky beggar for explorer as it has more gullible idiots crew on board to die for me find high value goods.

Serpent it is! For me the best starting pirate / combat ship. Even when it drinks fuel like mad on Impossible. And of course, I have survived Impossible Alien ambush on turn 80 once in it, which deepens the bond ;D. |

I dont have serpant yet been working on getting better i got everything else minus the advanced ships from factions
