I understand what u say,but it's also true('bout wishes),that this game is difficult to change,now,'cause it has reached a level of complexity where it's really a problem(code,time,ecc) to choose a different way to make actions,or to add a feature...^_^ For this Forum experience i say this...=) and also 'cause i know a bit of programming stuff(as other know,maybe also u,the Kings are Cory and Andy,'cause they created ST,and it's a good point when we aretalking about ST XD) and more an application is complex,more modding this application is difficult =)

Whoa, dudes! Keep it cool in here. Ain't no point getting all toasty over a game that was actually not created for mass market consumerism.

Cory has stated a few times that he just wanted to make a game that he enjoys playing. Releasing the game on Apps Market was just to let like-minded individuals to also enjoy his game (paying for Elite version would, of course, be a bonus to him).

Make no mistake: this game was not, at the 1st instance, built for anyone, except Cory himself, in mind. The game evolved into what it is today because of the presence of this wish list.

And what wishes that can't be granted in ST1 may make an appearance/become a main feature in ST2. So, stop bickering already. We're all old enough to be (or are) grandfathers/fathers, for crying out loud.

ST1 is no different. ST2 will also have limitations, compromises and design flaws.

ST2 will be based on the feedback I have gotten on ST1 -- just like CK and TA are both evolution or experimentation on the core designs.

You know BG and Cory; that's a big part of my disconnect of late. I had forgotten the extremely important factor that Cory DID create this game as his idea game. Although he had informed me before I came to the forum and you guys have mentioned it, I kept thinking as if he created it AS a consumer product. I forgot he just decided to allow us in on the fun he created for himself.

I have to keep that in mind and try to make sure I throw out my wish list items in the appropriate thread and stop responding to other posts as if the primary goal was a successful consumer product. I imagine those of us that like the game enough to pay for the Elite version are probably sort of surprising to him. LOL

So I "hope" I keep that in mind. I'll still ask questions because this is the best place to get answers and usually the type of people that frequent forums don't mind sharing experience and giving advice.

I know it gets tiring seeing the same questions pop up as new people discover the game, but that's the nature of the beast. .

Same here. I posted the same wishes someone else did before. But stay here long enough, you'll know what could and couldn't be done in ST1, what might and might not show up in ST2.

Your involvement here is not just to squeeze out more enjoyment for yourself only, I hope. We ARE a community. And as we input more ideas here for Cory to assess and try out on his game engine, we are helping the current game get more polished and the next game to be more epic for EVERYONE.

Of course, if whining helps to get some really epic stuff into ST1 (or, failing that, at least in ST2), I'll whine! ;D And goddamn it, no amount cyber-bullies or mockeries can stop me!

Exalt, Excellent post Ab357! Sorry if I came across as an A-hole any time during our debate, I was just really focused on getting my opinion across effectively.

I concede you don't need a WAAambulance. Its nice to know its always there when ya need it though right? And the parAAAHH!medics...

Thanks for all the good feedback and for everyone helping to bring the thread to a happy end. I think Trese Brothers strives pretty hard to keep an open door to feedback, and to listen to our community. We consider it a core value. We promise to listen, reply, discuss, consider, but changing the games is our call at the end. Cheers.

Well we you mis name the thread at the beginning you know it's not going to be perfect;)

I "meant" the purpose of this sub forum. LOL. But as I posted somewhere else I temporarily forgot ST was in fact created for personal enjoyment and we are just lucky Cory and crew shares it with us. It brings an entirely different perspective to judgement on the game.

@antexeele does the WAaabulance come with torps and can I pilot it in Basic? LOL
