Just spent a week in Boston. Strolled along Commonwealth and was dragged to the up-market stores in Back Bay. Definitely not the slums of NBZ

We had a great time, managed to get to the concert rehearsal on the Esplanade on the 3rd, went to the parade on the 4th then enjoyed the fireworks all over the city from the rooftop terrace of the apartment on the night of the 4th.
Great food and great beer!
It's a beautiful city and so clean, you can tell Bostonians care about their city.
Didn't get a chance to catch a Red Sox game though, they were playing a "home" game in London! Which, oddly, my brother-in-law was at.

But what about the beans! Nobody ever mentions the bean when they talk about Boston. Am I the only one that knows of this dish?! Is this a sheep only thing? WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE DAMN BEANS!!! Spill the beans or I'll bake you with a torp  |
