If you have haul cargo for missions you see these requirements in the titles, like (0/14). I wonder if it's possible to update these numbers in the brackets that you immediately see if you are fulfilling these demands with your current cargo. It's misleading after goods are purchased but you still see 0s there. It's also useful for dedicated traders with huge cargo holds to know if you have still have enough of that freight to drop it in the current system after picking up a large number of commercial missions at same time.

That's an interesting suggestion. I will investigate if this is something we should do!

Sounds pretty good to me. We'd just have to handle the case of having two missions for the same good, and the case of having more than enough for a mission. Worth looking into if easy IMO.

Not sure as often part of the requirement cargo can be in a stash. If I have 7 in my hold and in my remote stash on that world, it would show 7/14 or 14/14? Oh the bug reports

Just going back over the design notes it appears that the OP is sorta missing some of the details and nuances of these mission types. You can actually see during the alpha the specificity being dialed back, just as Andrew says, to reduce those sweet sweet bug reports and player confusions.
This is sorta one of those lowest energy state situations where you get 1 bug report every 100K players (above) about the 0 and 600 per 100K players on the higher specificity setting. You know which one a team of two people has to pick <3
