You can never go wrong making your argument in memes Even in the smallest seeds, there are still a rather large amount of worlds that you will never set foot on. Unless you are determined and you are specifically going for some kind of 100% playthru, it is reasonable to assume that you are only going to visit a fraction of the planets and never get the information for that world. A lot of contacts would very likely have that kind of information at their fingertips, and to the best of my knowledge there is not an unspoken design law that is being broken. Along with contacts being able to sell you a planet's numbers, this also seems like a good thing to slip into spice hall based talents.

Thanks for the suggestion! We have looked at and even tested this system but haven't decided to add it at this time.

How about this: whenever you find intel, there are randomly two systems revealed that are related to the two factions of this conflict. Just two dice rolls, and if you are lucky these aren’t visited yet or only unvisited ones are on the dice-list. One line in the alert screen could mention the revealed systems/planets. Alternatively or additionally, purchasing contacts automatically reveal their planets although this isn’t really as fast as finding intel of course.

My head is full of hairy ideas – time to pull them out! Distant rumors are automatically discovered on a quadrant visit, aren’t they? If you find an intel stack that provides distant planet info, you could also reveal its local rumor then. This is basically a double-reward then and gives these intels actually real intelligence data.

You guys are still great at listening to the community! We work hand in hand with our Kickstarter backers to build these games. I really enjoy the open collaborative process that yields these games. I am already looking forward to the next alpha where backer ideas will be directly turned into features at a time in the game's life-cycle when such things are possible, fun and fast!
