A poll is not needed. Cadar is the strongest.

Used to like Steel Song but I've been loving Moklumnue recently. Their trading ways suits my pacifist self more than the "duel of assassins" way of life in Steel Song. I'm always getting into wars, dodging pirates and escaping bounty hunters with the eternally bloodthirsty Steel Song

Really interesting how SSC and Cadar are neck-and-neck, each taking 25% of the total votes. I thought Thulun would more popular than it is. Also a little surprising that Zenrin hasn't gotten a single vote so far, but I've always suspected it was one of the least popular.

Yeah, I've never heard of anyone with Zenrin as their favorite.

Nowadays, I really enjoy switching it up and starting with different faction backgrounds.. but I suppose that requires the kind of confidence that comes with knowing that Clan Zenrin will still be there to remember the failures of all those squabbling hive-snacks, long after the debris of their last ships was ground to dust. Alta Mesa are a close second for me, but I always gravitated towards the less militaristic / opportunistic options. Given all we know about the situation after the Exodus, the Zenrins' bid for autarky, along with their focus on preserving history and learning from past mistakes, seems rational. Everyone else is so obsessed with their own advantage, that they're willing to sacrifice what little is left of humanity on the altar of faction politics. What I would really _love_, however, is a way to truly side with the Independents. Frack the Houses and their Princes, screw the Syndicates right with them.. perhaps the Hunna do have the right idea. >.>

Rychart seems to be luckier than the other factions.the crew doesn't easily lose morale and mutiny at every little thing. xenos also seldom attack rychart ships and if they do, the captain usually defeats them or escapes.
