It would be nice if Speed/Agility could be used as reward factors in some card games, that would make small ships a little more versatile. Maybe Speed should be used for Orbital Ops and Agility for Exploration?

If they're used for reward factors only and don't contribute to saving rolls or risk factors, I'd be on board. It would, however, introduce a gimmick where you could reset a hand by switching to a ship with a different engine though.

I would really love it if there was more to set small ships apart from large ships. They can do well in combat by virtue of their speed and agility, but it would be nice if they had some compensating features for non-combat as well (again, some sort of advantage that stems from being small and agile). I could imagine a nimble stealthy ship being harder to detect when spying for example. Whether that's possible to factor into a card game though I'm not sure.

I'm pretty sure equipping an attribute-boosting gear or getting more related crew Skills does not reset the cards, so I see no reason why changing engine stats that are reward factors would.

Larger ships having a cap on pilot dice could make smaller ships more appealing... or just make all ships worse in the end lol.

It feels like any setup where changing ships would reset the cards is going to force the player into a really annoying loop.
