This suggestion might be a total non-starter depending on how the story expands, or indeed it may already by planned, but I was thinking it would be nice if the Council of Factions (i.e. the Coalition) gets more of the features of the regular factions. I've been a bit of a Coalition loyalist on 2 of my captains, and have installed a lot of emissaries and commanders all over the galaxy. But having completed the consolidation era on one of my captains so far, I'm thinking it would be nice if some of these coalition contacts gave out missions, ranks, and maybe had other roles like with the other factions (spies, explorers, doctors, etc). As I say, this suggestion may not fit into the vision for the expanding lore, or may just not be feasible, but I thought I'd share the thought.
