Buy Relic gear from contacts during certain rumors

I think it would be great if players were able to purchase relic gear, normally only attainable through salvaging operations, from contacts during specific rumors. It would give CC-focused players a way to get the best gear without needing to frequently participate in salvaging.

A potential downside might be that being able to purchase relic gear would make them feel less special, but since their availability would still be rare (only during specific rumors AND relevant contact must be on that world AND contact must have high Inf AND player must have high E rep AND big credit cost) I'm not very concerned.

Cool concept, definitely like it. I don't think that we'd go the route where a Rumor would just open up the Salvage lists but instead would offer a different set of higher level gear.

Which relics do you feel are really worth salvaging for? Yes, they are higher level, but especially for armor, the stats barely seem worth it. Highest level contact gear seems just as good. Maybe if the relics were more relic-like, unique with high stats, salvaging would seem worthwhile.
