Hello guys, my first post here. First of all congratulations on the game, it's really fun when you get the basics.
I wanted to post some things i think would improve the game, although some of them maybe already ingame and im not aware of, still here we go:
One of the things that seem a pain is long distance space travel. It is already difficult by itself just finding the destination point sometimes, but for me the worse part is once you set the plot and are in the middle of it, ship encounters and events will happen and then all is interrupted again, you have to find the final destination point (a pain again finding it) and retouching it to continue. Wouldn't a simple "Travel" or something button that allows you to continue your trip without retouching the final coordenates be much easier? This could be integrated in the zoomed map aswell for a much improved navigation in space.
Another thing worth looking at would be space combat. I find it confusing at the least. Yesterday i was in a battle (difficult setting, lvl 11 bounty hunter with good pilot, stealth and warrior skills) with an enemy crappy ship, mine was a jango class that had much higher values in everything and enemy captain was lvl 2 i think. Well after a couple gun shots he had his crew reduced to 15, nearly no engines and damaged hulk, so i went to board it. Suddenly my almost intact ship got the hulk reduced to 0 and game over. Is that he fired his guns while boarding and got extremely lucky? Maybe engine wise it makes sense, but for a real person playing the game this is stupid and frustrating, shouldn't happen, especially thinking it's game over for the player!
Just to end this brick a final note. Why pirates of my own factions, the ones wich i have good rep, ranking, trade and death permits keep harrasing me and i keep losing rep with em? Makes no sense also.
Well i could propably say some more things to improve but those ones were the most important i coud think of, aside balancing profession difficulties, like explorer being like godmode and bounty hunter the opposite, but in the end those are player choices and quite down in the priority list i guess.
