Teach me how to use plasma soldiers

Sorry drspendlove but i'm borrowing your teach me thread.

Basically beyond using the strikepoint kit for plasma damage and some tinkering with armor i'm kinda stuck with how to get the most bang for my buck out of plasma soldiers.

So any suggestions builds ect ? cuz i got nothing beyond using the strikepoint
