Hello I have managed to get to the end of the Erik Fean quest. I did the ship to ship battle and then failed. For some reason all the lvl 6 and 7 weapons that I built were nerfed against his ship and the other 300k of upgrades did nothing to assist and I lost the battle and was arrested. However on release I went straight back after him with a broken shop and went about boarding to defeat him. It went very well, however for some reason after killing Erik, putting him on ice and pressing the leave order to carry on with claiming my reward I am instantly put right to the start of the ship battle. I have killed Erik 3 times in a row now and it keeps going back to that point. What's going on here?

I am not on the dev team, but that definitely sounds like a bug. The instructions for submitting a bug report aren't apparently pinned anywhere, but try this. The save game location (on PC) is like c:\users\<username>\AppData\Local\StarTradersFrontiers. Zip the entire folder and email to andrew@tresebrothers.com. In the email mention the specific captain name and save slot if any, as well as mentioning this thread, or describe the problem in the email.

can you share specifics about what exactly is looped? Any dialog?

As for the bug I begin the ship battle with Erik and then once the ship is defeated and I'll get the winners Dialog and then I get the post battle options (eg. LEAVE, RANSOM, BATTLE DAMAGE REPAIR.) once selecting leave I will go straight so the start of the ship battle in the the ship battle screen |

@phineas - since there are multiple different paths through this, can you share a line of dialog from the "winner's dialog"? This way I can know I am looking at the right thing.
When you say, "straight so the start of the ship battle in the the ship battle screen" can you post a screenshot of what that screen is exactly?

I had this same problem exactly, also on my android phone. Sucks and gave me multiple copies of the mission too so i defeated aeureleus char (spelling?) 3 times haha.

@stephenshu - sorry to hear about the bug. Can you share any specifics about where your version of it started? It doesn't sound like the exact same problem
