I really hope so mostly because the UI for it is rather epic. Like i said, i spent 2 characters and several deaths to high heat simply trying to find paydata that was on a menu i didnt know scrolled <.< Since I figured it out its gone a lot better though. Most of my experience with hack sims has been Uplink and Shadowrun - neither is practical to this sort of game though.

oh a ShadowRun Matrix gives me warm Fuzzies. And thankfully I am not alone in this response. so does Uplink, but not as much I highly recommend ( and pray I don't get chastised for it) cybergenesis you check out a slightly different perspective and recommend Decker. it is PC and I don't believe you will need to run the compatibility wizard...but that game back in the day was great. actually I would love to see it ported to Android too. I would still play CK more. now that I really think about it and this is a huge commendation for TB, I could run a genesis emulator on my phone to play SR and I still choose CK over it.

If only Decker is implemented into CK's Matrix system. It'd be the BOMB! ;D

I would have to agree with that. yes I mentioned this long ago...around update 16 or so? I know that I have been told that the future Interwebs / DigiDown will be very nice. Very stuzzy indeed Chummer.

If it's better than Decker or <gasp!> better than Beneath A Steel Sky (see video around 3:30),
WIN!

All my search results kept pushing me toward Shadowrun
Lemme go check this out...as soon as i put CK down <.<
EDIT: Upon several hours of playtesting this blindly difficult game completely lacking of a manual - I approve of similar additions to CK.
Its really a quite simple system

Please understand that Decker was created as a fan project, if memory serves. As I have mentioned to Slide, it really helps to have experience with ShadowRun matrix runs. Yes Decker doesn't really have a help file, but does have multiple skins..lol.
it is a great game and simple, but addicting.
yes I would love to see a hybrid of Decker and what has already been designed for CK.

however, at least 2 other people that I know of have tried it. and the classics need revisited to.

***** I didn't mean to disrupt the forums with talk of another game that led to players trying it out. This is actually a problem with the way societies are today. The default assumption is that the makers of culture are in the same position as the makers of, say. toothpaste. First you have to commoditise your art. Then you have to compete with all the other art creators out there. Collaborating and sharing from each other is deeply frowned upon -- after all, in other industries, you would get an anti-Trust lawsuit. And artists are supposed to walk around with pitch-forks saying 'infringe on my intellectual property and die, scum!'. But this runs completely counter to how we create culture in the first place, which is based on sharing cool stuff when we find it, and copying and adapting the things we like for our own purposes. So the urge to share culture is entirely reasonable, and natural. It's the notion of culture as property, and exclusive-use-private-property at that which requires the explanation.

As a creative Iconoclast I can see both points. Mine was only that I felt it in bad taste, regardless of justification.

The sock puppets are frothing in rage, but none of the Trese Brothers mind sharing, talk of other games, and healthy feedback.
