For the love of ice haulers everywhere, please don't make me buy another "Sensor Array 1"
Small Structure module 25 Mass = 2000 credits Medium Structure module 50 Mass = 4000 credits Large Structure module 100 Mass = 8000 credits
Yes, this is a thinly veiled request for empty compartment modules allowing us to build classic SciFi space ships While the end goal would be MASS รท Engine = Performance
It's hard to build the millennium falcon when ships are locked into one set mass and class speed Would be nice if a low mass unarmed freighter has different flight performance than the same ship bristling with weapons
Thanks again Fun game

We tried that during the alpha test and found that it was not a good direction for this game.
Perhaps in the sequel and future Star Traders games we will find backers and testers who are excited about that option.
We're so proud to have had such an exciting and dynamic alpha test. We learned an incredible amount about what is fun in this type of game from our players.
Thanks for the suggestion, and thanks for playing Star Traders: Frontiers!

Maybe we can just get empty modules (no performance difference) So we can BLANK a ship and then purchase what we want up until it's flyable? It's expensive to buy low mass disposable equipment in order to try out a new weapon with 5 higher mass. Small Structure module 25 Mass = 2000 credits Medium Structure module 50 Mass = 4000 credits Large Structure module 100 Mass = 8000 credits Read more: startradersrpg.proboards.com/thread/19791/expanse-2001#ixzz65qYOKpXC

Thanks for the suggestion. Empty slots is not something that we plan to add, after having evaluated it multiple times.

How about a broken mass damper that weighs 25 Mass and costs 2000 credits?
