I am only playing with the default map so I can really learn it's ins and outs. I was wondering if any of you had identified sectors that allowed you to run a circuit and make substantial amounts of money? My favorite on the default map is the Cadar-controlled Fifth Pass once I have a good rep and a trade permit of at least 3. This usually occurs once I have had Kopar Volpane on my crew. I'm in the late game right now and went around the horn in Fifth Pass and made over 500k and left with a full load of 160 units. I also had a level 3 permit for DeValtos for those stops but nothing for Steel Song although I did have a positive rep with them. Altogether I made 13 stops.
Probably the second best sector for me in this game is Thulun sector, Brycian Edge. 18 stops, 11 of which are Thulun and 5 independent/DeValtos.
I have cultivated two pretty good ones with DeValtos, Ghogga Edge (which is right next to Brycian Edge) and the De Valtos-controlled Ironforge Abyss. It has 16 stops, 7 of which are DeValtos but the rest are divided among five other clans/syndicates.
My home faction is Thulun, but I have actively kept Cadar and DeValtos happy. Definitely works for me on the default map.
