I was leaning heavier towards the galaxy anyhow bigger screen, more data stprage capacity and slicker look. The iphone is a little faster and cheaoer by 100's$. But you get what pay For so....besides tne ophone is strickly internal storage only npr upgrading the memory card if you run out of memory you are just gonna have tp live with it. I cant waot.only 2 more weeks befpre I ave some serious droid equipments I think ill get the 32gig memory card.

And if you sometimes indulge your Child at Heart (which I do ), Kairosoft offers better games on Android than Apple. So, with all due respects to Jobbs (God rest his soul), screw the iPhone!

I have a Galaxy, and am very pleased with it. Something that I did not even know I was getting when I bought the thing, but now cannot live without, is the ability to connect my laptop to the internet, anywhere, using Mobile AP. Up to 5 devices can connect via one phone -- so my friends end up connecting through my phone, too.

Is that a free app? I noticed that tmobile had a service that was 15$ and verizon had the service for 40$. Im going through sprint and didnt ask about ot. Tmobile has it. built into the phone and verizon you have to buy the little gadget to connect the laptops. Is this a free app you have or did you hAVE to pay for it.. Also im going to be getting the galaxy epic II. What do you have? The galaxy is cost 100$ more so it. has to be better. Besides I dont think I could leave android. I told my phone about the possibility I might get an iphone instead of android and this might be goodbye and it. actually beeped and turned itself off. I think it. was heart broken. (true story and ill take a lie detector test on that) I cant leave android. I think we are in love.... In gonna name her DROIDETTE.

It was completelyt free for me. Settings/Wireless and Network/Mobile AP I have a Samsung Galaxy S (original) GT I9000. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_SThere are varianet models for US carriers, but we don't do that here. And if you have a chance to just by the baemodel, not a varient -- well, I went to the USA, bought a sim card to use there before I left, and it worked with T-mobile just fine.

Accessing the internet through a phone is called tethering. Most carriers abuse licence agreements to force the customer to pay more for EXACTLY the same data. As for buying an iFoam or iFad - there are precisely 2 times when that is the right choice: 1) All your other equipment is Apple. 2) You are a technological simpleton (sounds harsh but it's the truth) Actually, there is a 3rd; You believe it will impress people (but this one is dying out).
